Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu Monday blamed opposition Congress for disrupting the Lok Sabha, saying the government was ready to take up the discussion on price rise.
"The government is ready to discuss everything, it is the opposition that is disrupting the house," Naidu told reporters.
The opposition had sought adjournment of question hour to discuss rising prices, but Speaker Sumitra Mahajan did not agree. This led to a ruckus, followed by two adjournments.
"The question hour is over, now the debate can start anytime, why are they creating ruckus?" he said.
