Dubai, June 14 (IANS/WAM) A total of 4,566 Dubai Police officers have been promoted, following orders from UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Four brigadiers from Dubai Police were promoted to the rank of major general.
They are Brigadier Khalil Ebrahim Al Mansouri, director of the Criminal and Investigation Department; Brigadier Mohammad Saeed Bakheet, director of the Dubai Police IT Department; Brigadier Mohammad Sa'ad Al Shareef, director of the Regulatory Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; and Brigadier Ahmad Eid Al Mansouri.
Dubai Police commander-in-chief Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim said five other officers were promoted to the rank of brigadier, 26 from lieutenant colonel to colonel, 31 from major to lieutenant colonel, 13 from captain to major, in addition to promotions for other staff members.
