Former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich midfielder Ze Roberto has revealed he is in talks to join Brazil's Palmeiras.
The 40-year-old will meet with Palmerias officials in the coming days after returning from a short holiday with his family in Germany Saturday, reports Xinhua.
"We are in advanced talks," Ze Roberto told Sportv. "I can't say that it is confirmed because I have been away but I be think that by early next week I will be able to tell you."
Eight-time Brazilian Serie A champions Palmeiras narrowly avoided relegation to the country's Serie B earlier this month.
Ze Roberto, who has been capped 84 times by Brazil, ended a three-year spell at Gremio Dec 9 when the Porto Alegre club declined to renew his contract.
