Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said on Wednesday he will make a statement on the AgustaWestland scam in parliament.
Asked about the details emerging in the VVIP chopper scam, he said: "I will speak about the issue in the house explaining all apprehensions."
"So many VIPs are involved, Sonia Gandhi's name has come, you are reporting that. Ahmad Patel's name is there, there is mention of a family, but which family is that. Is it the Gandhi family, or a family in Italy, or Tyagi family...?" Parrikar said.
Asked about Congress allegations of a deal being struck between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Italian counterpart Matteo Renzi, Parrikar refused to comment, stating that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has already made a statement in the Rajya Sabha.
