It will be a partly cloudy Monday here with the possibility of dust or thunderstorm accompanied with squall in some areas, the Met Office said.
"The minimum temperature in the morning was recorded two levels below the season's average at 25.9 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 45 per cent.
Traces of rain were recorded in some areas of the national capital.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 40.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season, while the minimum was recorded a level above the season's average at 28.9 degrees Celsius.
