A two-member probe committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) comprising Director Security Col Muhammad Azam (Retd) and General Manager (Legal) Salman Naseer will travel to the United Kingdom to look into opener Nasir Jamshed's alleged involvement in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) spot-fixing saga.

According to a report in the Dawn newspaper, Jamshed was investigated by National Crime Agency in UK and his passport was withheld by the authorities when he was granted bail.

"A two-member PCB team comprising Director Security retired Col Muhammad Azam and General Manager (Legal) Salman Naseer will go to the UK to interrogate Jamshed," a PCB official said.

Meanwhile, pacer Mohammad Irfan and opening batsman Khalid Latif, who are among the five accused in the PSL spot-fixing case, appeared before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday and recorded their statements.

"Both cricketers recorded their statements before an FIA cyber crime team and denied their involvement in spot-fixing," an official said.

The other two suspended players -- Sharjeel Khan and Shahzaib Hasan -- will appear before the FIA Lahore to record their statements on Tuesday.

The report added that the FIA could not get the custody of the cellphones of the four suspended players for forensic examination.
