The gruesome Taliban attack on a school in Pakistan's Peshawar city has left Bollywood in a state of shock and megastar Amitabh Bachchan says instead of sympathising, the world should pray for the survivors and victims.
"Life goes on as does the wheel of fortune... moving endlessly on its axis of all what life and the heavens purported to bless us with...but when you look back, it is time for you to look forward...the horror does not need any accreditation.. it does not need attention or sympathy... right now it needs only prayer and thoughts with those little ones," Big B posted on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com.
At least 148 people, mostly children, were killed Tuesday when militants entered Army Public School and showered the kids and school staffs with bullets and their wrath.
The 72-year-old feels the pain and agony, but urges to provide "prayer and comfort" to all those who survived the brutality.
"Ones who had dreamt of a bright future, of opportunities they were creating for their way ahead, of associations and learning, and the love and the care of the Mother...eternally by their side in mind or body !!
"It is difficult to even begin to describe what our feelings should be, for all that we can possibly perceive is that a prayer and comfort is all that we should be giving to those that survived," he further posted.
Meanwhile, the actor is gearing up for movies like "Piku", "Wazir" and "Shamitabh".
