It was a pleasant Saturday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.9 degree Celsius, average for the time of the year. The Met office has forecast light rain in some parts of the city.
"There might be rain and thundershower in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 76 percent.
Saturday's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degree Celsius.
Since the arrival of the monsoon, the city has recorded 781.4 mm of rainfall -- 49 percent above normal.
Friday's maximum and minimum temperature settled two notches below average at 31.8 and 24.3 degree Celsius respectively.
