It was a pleasant day in the national capital Sunday as the maximum temperature settled at 19.6 degrees Celsius, four notches below average. Monday is expected to be slightly warmer.
"The skies will remain clear Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 20 and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
Sunday morning was chilly with the minimum temperature recorded four notches below average at 7.2 degrees Celsius.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded six notches below the season's average at 17.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
