It was a pleasant Sunday in the capital with a cloud cover and intermittent showers through the day in some areas. Rain has been forecast for Monday.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city received 4.5 mm rain from Saturday 8.30 a.m. to Sunday 8.30 a.m.
The maximum temperature of 33.2 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 26.1 degrees Celsius were average for this time of the year, an IMD official said.
The humidity hovered between a high and low of 92 and 73 percent.
Monday's maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 33 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
"The skies will remain generally cloudy with rain and thundershower in some parts of the city," said an IMD official.
Since the monsoon's arrival in June, Delhi has received 515.6 mm of rain, 37 percent more than average.
