Post-split from Hamilton, life not easy for Scherzinger

Singer Nicole Scherzinger has been struggling while shooting for this year's British singing reality show "The X Factor" after splitting from F1 racer Lewis Hamilton.

Scherzinger, 35, broke up with Hamilton, 28, in July after a relationship of more than five years. The singer is struggling to balance her TV commitments during the break-up.

"I'm not going to lie. On the personal side it has been a hard year for me. I am not a robot and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I want to be a professional and make it about the contestants and not about me," dailystar.co.uk quoted Scherzinger as saying.

"But music is a part of my life and music touches me, so I think I've been a bit more emotional through the audition process this year because I was obviously going through some stuff internally and I think anyone could relate to that.

"In a way it's a compliment to them because they've done what they set out to do, which is to connect and to communicate," she added.
