President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday greeted the Netherlands on the eve of King's Day.
In his message to King Willem-Alexander, Mukherjee said India and the Netherlands have a long history of friendship and cooperation that has developed over more than 400 years.
He said both countries have a successful economic and commercial partnership in many areas.
"I am confident that in the coming years the excellent relations between our two countries will be further strengthened," he said.
"Please accept, Your Majesty, my best wishes for your good health and personal well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Netherlands," he said, according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan press statement.
The King's Day is observed on April 27.
