President to visit to Maharashtra

President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Maharashtra Feb 8-9, a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement said Friday.

The president will inaugurate the diamond jubilee celebrations of Kishinchand Chellaram (KC) College Saturday and the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Advocates' Association of Western India in Mumbai.

Mukherjee will Feb 9 will inaugurate 'Krishi Vasant' - a national exposition organised by the union agriculture ministry and the Maharashtra government - in Nagpur.

Later in the day, he will attend the annual day function of the Gondia Education Society before returning to New Delhi.
