Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the war memorial in Bhopal to the country on October 14, and will also attend the former army men's convention to be held here on the same day, an official statement said on Thursday.
The statement said that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met the Prime Minister at his residence in New Delhi and invited him to dedicate the war memorial to the nation. The Chief Minister also requested Modi to attend the ex-army men's convention to be held on the same day.
Chouhan told Modi that the construction of the war memorial was over and he had invited Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar along with the chiefs on three Services also.
