PSG loan defender Digne to Roma for a season

French football giants Paris Saint-Germain have announced the transfer of French defender Lucas Digne to Italian side AS Roma for one year.

The Italian club paid an estimated amount of 2.5 million euros ($2.8 million) to get the promising 22-year-old defender, with an option of a permanent purchase, Efe reported on Wednesday

Digne's move to Roma came after a similar deal made by PSG with the signing of Layvin Kurzawa from Monaco, who signed Portuguese Fabio Coentrao from Real Madrid.
