Actor Puru Chibber distributed cakes, chocolates and snacks among underprivileged children on Christmas on Monday.

"Last night (Sunday) while walking in a mall, I heard kids talking about the decorations. They didn't even know the reason behind the celebrations. Later, I discussed it with mom. We planned to celebrate the festival with them.

"We got cakes, chocolates and snacks and shared them with the kids nearby at traffic signals this morning. It was really special. I felt blessed," Puru said in a statement.

Puru, the son of actress Vibha Chibber, has featured in shows like "Naamkarann" and "Pavitra Rishta".-*-

Actress Nilu Kohli says that Christmas is a special days for her and the Sikh community.

"Christmas is a beautiful day. It's celebration time for everyone but with the festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, it is also the birth anniversary of our 10th Guru Gobind Singh. It's a great day for us," Nilu said in a statement.

"I wish peace, love and happiness for everyone," she added.

Double celebration for Meghna Naidu in Goa

Actress Meghna Naidu, known for shows like "Sasural Simar Ka" and "Jodha Akbar", is celebrating Christmas and her mother's birthday in Goa.

"Every year, we have a big party for celebrate Christmas and mom's birthday. In the morning, we open gifts stashed under the Christmas tree at home. The gifts are kept secretly by me, sister, mom and dad for each other. We also keep a gift for our pet dog," Meghna said in a statement.

"Later in the evening, our family and friends come over for dinner and dance. But this year, I am in Goa for Christmas with mom and dad, and celebrating with their friends too. This morning, we celebrated Christmas with tourists. We gave them some Indian handicrafts and Indian traditional outfits. It was fun," she added.
