Portuguese player Ricardo Quaresma has signed with Turkish side Besiktas for two seasons with an option a third, valued at 3.3 million euros ($3.6 million), the Turkish club said.
The footballer said goodbye to Porto, whose colours he wore last season, and arrived on Tuesday in Istanbul, where he was greeted by a crowd of Besiktas supporters, reported EFE.
"We have reached an agreement with Ricardo Quaresma and Porto for the signing of the player," the Besiktas said on Wednesday.
The statement concluded that if Quaresma participates in at least 30 official matches in 2017-2018, he will be paid a guaranteed salary of 1.77 million euros.
The Portuguese player, who has passed through Barcelona, Porto and Inter Milan, wore the Turkish club colours between 2010 and 2012.
