Actress Raai Laxmi has been finalised as the leading lady opposite cinematographer-actor Natty aka Natarajan Subramaniam in upcoming Tamil road thriller "Bongu", which will go on floors this December.
"Laxmi has joined the cast. While she will play the main heroine, actress Pooja Bisht will be seen as the second leading lady," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
In contrast to the roles he's played so far, Natty will be seen in a very stylish avatar. It'll be a road film and will be shot across locations like Chennai, Mumbai, Dindigul and Madurai.
Regular shooting will start from December 12 on the occasion of Rajinikanth's birthday as well as the film's producer.
"Bongu" will be directed by debutant Tej and it will have music by D. Imman.
Actors Kishore and Sharath Lohitashwa will be essaying important roles.
