Polish tennis player Agnieszka Radwanska advanced to the quarter-finals of the Tianjin Open after eliminating Chinese Wang Qiang here on Thursday.
Radwanska, ranked 6th in the world, defeated Wang Qiang in their second round match 6-1, 6-1, Efe reported.
The Polish will be playing against Russia's Elizaveta Kulichkova, who secured her place in the quarterfinals as well following her 6-2, 7-5 win against her compatriot Evgeniya Rodina.
Montenegro's Danka Kovinic breezed through to the same round after defeating Brazilian Teliana Pereira 6-2, 5-7, 6-1, and she will be playing against Chinese Duan Yingying, who defeated Ukraine's Lyudmyla Kichenok 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 6-4.
