Celebrities Raghu Ram, Rannvijay Singha and Prince Narula have come together and raised their voice against injustice faced by women. They have a message for all the women - stand up and speak up for yourself.
Actress Saloni Chopra, who is seen in "MTV Girls On Top", showed some courage and took a stand for discrimination against women in the last episode. She saved a girl from being molested and fought all odds for the cause of women discrimination.
Now, the channel has taken forward the cause off the screen by initiating a campaign #speakup. The response has been phenomenal as celebrities both from the film industry as well as the television world have come forward to support the cause by putting videos on Instagram and Twitter, read a statement.
In the same vein, Rannvijay, Raghu and Prince Narula showed their support.
Rannvijay said: "Men in India feel that masculinity is all about showing your power and molesting or raping a woman. The real man stands up and speaks up against injustice. It is time to speak up."
Chandigarh-based Prince Narula, who won controversial reality show "Bigg Boss Nau", shared that it is "really important" to speak up.
He said: "If you do not speak up, nobody will understand your plight. It is very upsetting to see guys who make women feel uncomfortable. It is time to stand up and speak up."
To this, Raghu added: "Indian women need to learn the fact that freedom and power is never given. They need to fight for it".
