Barcelona's Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic will spend the rest of the summer with his family on the Croatian coast, although not on the island of Ugljan where the footballer's house was attacked on Friday, local press reported on Monday.
The Barcelona midfielder left the island of Ugljan after the villa where he was staying with his family was stoned, reports Efe.
Six fans on Saturday threw stones at the holiday home while shouting insults, according to local media reports.
Authorities say that there was only one attacker who threw a stone and broke a glass window in the room where Rakitic's wife Raquel was staying with her daughters at the time.
Zagreb police have questioned several people but the attacker is yet to be identified.
Croatia lost to Portugal in the pre-quarterfinals of the European Championships in France.
