The response to the first teaser of R. Madhavan's Tamil-Hindi bilingual "Irudhi Suttrua" has exceeded the expectations of its producer S. Sashikanth of Y NOT Studios.
"The response to the teaser has exceeded all my expectations and I'm very excited about the release of the film," Sashikanth said in a statement.
A sports drama based on boxing, Madhavan essays the role of a coach in the film, which is directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad.
Ritika Singh and Mumtaz Sorcar play the female leads.
The film is titled "Saala Khadoos" in Hindi, and is jointly produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Y NOT Studios and Thirukumaran Entertainment.
