Hardik Pandya may have been rested for India's series against Sri Lanka, but going by the squad list outside Team India's dressing room at the Eden Gardens, the in-form all rounder is very much in the mix.
In what can be termed a hilarious faux pas, Pandya's photo, with his name written on it, is firmly in place in the team list attached to the glass dressing room entrance at the Eden, although the 24-year old asked for rest ahead of the Lanka series and is not travelling with the team.
Pandya has been a regular member of the Indian side in all three formats of the game and has been playing non-stop since the Champions Trophy in England in June.
The BCCI had said that he was rested to manage his workload.
