Ritu Kumar has come up with her latest collection of Chanderi saris and says the new range of six-yards is an ode to a woman's beauty and the fabric's heritage.
The entire collection boast centuries old weaving process, which combines fine textured fabric of unbleached cotton yarn with silk and zari.
Each sari has been woven with zari butis and floral motifs in bright hues of gold, pink, peach, various shades of green and blue, fuchsia and red.
The high point of the collection is that it mirrors the hard work and dedication of the weavers, said a statement.
Chanderi saris are known for their lightness. The traditional motifs and the originality of the weaving technique makes them one of the famous textiles in the country.
The collection is available at Ritu's Kumar's store and the price stars from Rs.24990.
