Football club Bayern Munich's winger Arjen Robben is set to miss the rest of the season with a calf injury, he suffered in their DFB-Pokal encounter against Borussia Dortmund which Bayern lost in a penalty shoot-out on Tuesday night.
"Arjen #Robben has a tear in his left calf muscle. His season is over," read a tweet from the club.
Robben was out of action since March 23, after he tore an abdominal muscle.
On Tuesday he made a comeback which only lasted for 16 minutes in the second half. He came on in the 68th minute and then left the field in the 84th, clutching his calf after going down on the field unchallenged.
