Three armed men on a two-wheeler on Monday looted Rs 5 lakh from a collection agent here in Kaushambi bordering Delhi, police said.

The three, armed with pistols, intercepted Sanjay Saini near ICICI Bank in the Kaushambi residential locality.

As Saini was walking towards the bank, the three drove up to him. While one man put a pistol on his head, another snatched a bag from him. The three then escaped.

"The victim reached the police station and lodged a complaint. We are trying to nab the robbers," police Inspector Sachin Malik said.
