Rs.21 lakh looted in Ghaziabad

Armed robbers looted Rs.21.50 lakh in cash from a man and his two sons in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district Tuesday.

The incident occurred in Inayatpur village, about seven km from Masuri town.

Police said Balle Singh and his sons Jitendra and Hitesh were carrying the money on a bike when they were knocked down by another motorcycle.

As they fell on the road, two of the robbers snatched the bag containing the cash. The robbers then escaped, police officer Rajesh Pandey said.
