India's shuttle queen Saina Nehwal has regained her position as the No.1 ranked singles player in the latest Badminton World Federation's (BWF) rankings, released on Thursday.
Saina has 80191 points to take the top spot, followed by Spain's Carolina Marin (79578) and China's Li Xuerei (72964).
Saina rose to the top spot for the first time by reaching the Indian Open final last month. But her reign lasted only a week as Xuerui defeated Saina in the Malaysia Open semi-final to demote her to the second position.
