Germany's Schalke 04 has announced that Sevilla FC right back Coke has successfully passed the medical tests as a preliminary step to join the Bundesliga football club.
The German club reported on its official website that the skipper of last season's Europa League winners passed his medical on Sunday, reports Efe.
On Monday, the 29-year-old, who has won Europe's secondary club competition three times with Sevilla FC, will return to Spain to settle final formalities before joining the German squad in their training camp in Mittersill, Austria.
