Sunday was the season's warmest day in Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 14.4 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The day ahead would be partly cloudy. Moderate/dense fog is likely to occur in the morning/forenoon," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 96 percent while the visibility was 500 metre.
As many as 12 trains including Vikramshila Express, Magadh Express, Mahabodhi Express were running late due to fog in and around Delhi, the Northern Railways said on Sunday.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 27.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average.
