A set acts as a second home for actors -- but for actor Rahul Sharma, who is currently seen in TV show "Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi", the serial's set has become a gym.

Hectic shooting schedules are part and parcel of a daily show. Hence, Rahul was missing out on his health and fitness regime. Taking this into consideration, the show's makers have arranged for some gym equipment for him.

"The channel and the production house have organised a mobile gym section in his make-up room for the actor, who couldn't be regular at the gym due to his busy shooting schedule," said a source.

"The actor now hits the 'gym' whenever he gets time in the middle of shooting," the source added.

The show is aired on Pal channel.

Neha Marda's 'motherly' moments

Actress Neha Marda, who is yet to become a mother in real life, says that thanks to her role in TV show "Doli Armaanon Ki", she has learnt some things about motherhood.

The show's current track features the protagonist Urmi (Neha) moving on from her divorce with her husband Samrat, played by Mohit Malik, and having a successful career as an independent woman and a single mother to 10-year-old son Shaurya.

"In all these years, working with Shaurya, I have become like a mother myself. We shoot for almost 18 hours in a day and I take care of him just like a mother," she said of her camaraderie with the child actor who essays Shaurya.

The show airs on Zee TV.
