At least seven people, including two policemen and three militants, were killed and 10 others injured Monday when Taliban gunmen and suicide bombers attacked a government building in Afghanistan, an official said.
"Three militants targeted the provincial directorate of justice's office in Jalalabad at 9.45 a.m. The security forces cleared the building after exchange of fire lasting for hours," the official told Xinhua.
The seven killed included two policemen, two employees of the department and three militants.
The clash followed a bomb blast near Jalalabad city fire department, which injured six people, including four civilians in the city.
