There was shallow fog on Friday morning here in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 20.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, the MeT department said.
"There was mist or shallow fog on Friday morning. The sky would remain clear in the day ahead," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded 89 per cent.
The maximum temperature on Thursday settled at 34.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 19.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
