New Delhi, April 24 (IANS) A six-year-old girl was raped by a juvenile neighbour in the national capital, police said Wednesday.
The fourteen-year-old accused, a child labourer, has been apprehended.
"The girl was spotted crying late Tuesday evening by a family member, near her house at Seema Puri in east Delhi," a police officer said.
The parents immediately called police and took the girl to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, where doctors said a medical examination confirmed that the girl had been assaulted sexually.
Police said the accused boy was held from his house Wednesday afternoon.
