Sonakshi Sinha to walk for Anita Dongre at LFW

Designer Anita Dongre is all set to present "Love Notes" on day three of the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort 2016 on Friday with Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha as the showstopper.

"This season, watch love come alive in all its nuances as Anita Dongre captures this poignant emotion in ethereal tales, through her latest Summer 2016 collection - Love Notes and Sonakshi is going to walk the ramp for her," said a statement.

In line with her signature aesthetics, Dongre's latest collection is a contemporary expression of modern silhouettes delicately combined with traditional styles. This Rajasthan-inspired collection portrays the myriad moods of the modern woman, who is about to take the plunge.

Characterised by linear symmetry, embroidered digital prints, and the signature 'gotta patti' work, this patch work inspired collection is brought to life in chanderi silk, raw silk, georgettes and net brocade.

Echoing the architectural splendour of Rajasthan, the designs will depict a perfect meeting ground of cultural richness and modernity. Here, the colour palette boasts of a bright summer comprising canary yellows, pristine whites, powder blues and rose pinks.
