Spaniard Garbine Muguruza rose to the third place in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) world rankings released on Monday with 5,200 points, behind first placeed American Serena Williams and Romanian Simona Halep.
Polish Agnieszka Radwanska advanced to the fifth spot after winning the WTA Finals in Singapore 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 over Czech Petra Kvitova, who lies in sixth, reports Efe.
Russia's Maria Sharapova is in fourth place with 5,011 points.
