Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Wednesday inaugurated earthquake resistant 52 flats for members of the lower house.
The built-up area of the two blocks - Narmada and Kaveri - is 22,533.44 sq metres while total area of the project is 19,439.84 sq metres, an official release said, adding that the buildings are earthquake resistant and include a basement and eight floors.
The complex is friendly to differently-abled friendly complex and there is provision for a common lounge and pantry for the visitors on the ground floor.
The green features include solar water heating system, rain water harvesting, compound lighting with solar lights and use of LED fittings for common area and street lights.
