Stephany Folsom has been roped in as the new screenwriter for "Toy Story 4", set for release on June 21, 2019.
Folsom has replaced Rashida Jones and Will McCormack who left the film in November, reports deadline.com.
Jones earlier said she had left the franchise over "philosophical differences" and asserted that the exit was over the fact that they believed women and people of colour did not have "an equal creative voice" at Pixar.
Last year, the film also lost its director with Josh Cooley taking over.
