Chief operating officer (COO) of Sun TV Network Ltd. C. Praveen was arrested Friday over alleged sexual harassment charges filed by a former woman staffer, police said.
A police team picked him up from his residence here.
According to police, a former woman staffer of the Surya TV arm of the company filed the complaint against Praveen.
She had quit the company around five months ago following the alleged sexual harassment.
This is the second such complaint against a senior official of Sun TV.
Last year, a Sun TV staffer had complained of sexual harassment by Sun TV's news editor Raja.
