Delhi Police are likely to question Sunanda Pushkar's son Shiv Menon Wednesday in connection with her murder.
Police Commissioner B S Bassi told media that Shiv Menon has reached Delhi and they have asked him to join the probe as soon as possible.
"We know that he reached Delhi... asked him to join probe soon. Likely to be questioned today (Wednesday)," said Bassi.
Menon, who lives in Dubai, is Pushkar's son from her previous marriage.
A Delhi Police team is probing the murder and has questioned at least 15 people in connection with the case. Among them are her husband and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, his official staff members and close friends.
Police have questioned several friends of Pushkar who include former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and senior journalists Nalini Singh and Rahul Kanwal.
Officials told IANS that Menon was called January 29 to come to Delhi. They would try to find out if Pushkar told him anything before her death.
Pushkar was found dead in a luxury hotel room here January 17, 2014. A murder case was registered by police against unknown people January 1 this year.
