A pleasant Monday morning that saw light rain gave way to a sunny day in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 35.6 degrees Celsius. Light rain is also expected on Tuesday.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Tuesday) and some parts of the city may get light rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Monday's minimum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 26.2 degrees Celsius. The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 71 percent.
