External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will be visiting Bangladesh from June 25 to June 27, a statement from her office said Saturday.
During the visit, which is taking place at the invitation of Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, Swaraj will hold bilateral talks with her counterpart.
"Swaraj will hold discussions on bilateral issues with the Bangladesh foreign minister. She will also call on Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," the statement said.
Swaraj will also engage with think tanks, chambers of commerce and industry and cultural organisations.
This is Swaraj's first stand-alone visit abroad after assuming office.
