The death toll due to swine flu increased to 26 in Odisha with two more deaths reported on Saturday, a health official said.
Two persons died while undergoing treatment at two private hospitals in the capital city, the official said.
Of the 29 swab samples tested on Saturday, 9 were found positive. A total 839 samples have been tested while 290 people have tested positive for the H1N1 virus so far, he said.
Meanwhile, the death toll due to dengue increased to three in Odisha with one more person succumbing to the disease in Cuttack on Saturday.
The deceased, identified as Sanatan Nayak of Tangarapada village in Keonjhar district, was undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack since the past 20 days.
