Singer Taylor Swift met her godson and best friend Jaime King's newborn baby for the first time.

The "Bad blood" hitmaker had her first cuddles with King's two-week-old son Leo Thames on Tuesday and then she took to Instagram to post pictures of the moment, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The smitten godmother can be seen gazing lovingly at Leo whilst King looked on and smiled.

She captioned the photograph: "Meeting my boy."

Her friend also shared the same image and wrote: "My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother Bliss. (sic)"

Swift, 25, then shared a photograph of the baby's hands curled around her finger. Referencing the lyrics to her song "Never grow up", she wrote: "Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight."
