She also bagged awards for top country artist, top digital songs artist. Her album "Red" topped in the Billboard 200 and country albums categories; her "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was named the top country song, reports billboard.com.
Swift's ex-boyfriend Harry Styles' band One Direction won three awards. Singer Justin Bieber also bagged three awards, and Rihanna won four awards - top radio songs artist, top R&B song, top R&B album, top R&B artist.
Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" swept four major song categories.
The 2013 Billboard Music Awards took place in Las Vegas Sunday night.
