Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd on Tuesday reported net profit of Rs.6,055 crore for second quarter of fiscal, posting 14.5 percent growth over last year and 6.1 per cent sequentially under the Indian accounting standard.
In a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the global software major said its revenues for the quarter under review also increased 14.1 percent over last year and 5.8 percent sequentially to Rs.27,165 crore.
Under the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) net income grew 6.2 percent over last year and 3.2 percent sequentially to $926 million, while revenue grew 5.8 percent over last year and 3 percent sequentially to $4.16 billion.
