The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued a third summons to senior Kashmiri separatist leader Mirwaiz Umer Farooq to appear before the agency in Delhi on April 18.
Farooq has been summoned on charges of involvement in a terror funding case, police sources said on Friday.
The summons said that the agency will look after his security.
Earlier, Farooq had, through his counsel, expressed his inability to appear before the agency in Delhi because of the "volatile situation" related to his security outside the Kashmir Valley.
But he promised complete cooperation with the NIA provided he was questioned in Srinagar.
Earlier, Farooq, who delivers the Friday sermon at the Jama Masjid, was placed under house arrest at his residence in Nigeen area on the city's outskirts.
