Three persons allegedly raped a deaf and dumb woman after luring her in to their car here, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place in the Garden Reach area in west Kolkata on Friday night. The victim, aged around 35, was driven to a secluded spot near Brace Bridge of south Kolkata and then violated, a police officer said.
Police said the victim was incapable of consenting because of her disability.
One person connected with the incident has been arrested, and a manhunt has been launched for the remaining two accused.
Police have also seized the vehicle and other incriminating evidence, the officer said.
The woman has been sent for medical examination.
