Hollywood actor Tom Hardy has reportedly dropped out of Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike's first English-language film "The Outsider".
Femalefirst.co.uk reports that according to movie website Twitch.com, production of the movie is currently underway but it has been placed on hold following "The Dark Knight Rises" star's departure.
Producers are reportedly looking for a new lead and it is said that Miike may exit the film because of his commitments to other projects.
"The Outsider" has been in development since 2011 and revolves around an American soldier who becomes a member of the Japanese Yakuza crime organisation.
