Tottenham Hotspur football club on Tuesday announced the signing of Dutch international striker Vincent Janssen for the next four seasons with an option for a fifth, from AZ Alkmaar.
Janssen, 22, cost Tottenham, third in the last English Premier League (EPL) and playing in next season's Champions League, 18.5 million pounds sterling ($24.3 million), reports Efe.
The striker, who was also targeted by other big European teams such as Wolfsburg and Paris Saint-Germain, passed a medical on Monday at the sports city of the club in north London and signed the contract on Tuesday.
Janssen played five times with Holland scoring three goals, and was the top scorer in the last Dutch Eredivisie with 27 goals.
